Standard Slings

Standard Slings

Medical Spare Parts produces and delivers a range of passive standard slings which are made of the highest quality materials to ensure maximum support and comfort during the patients' transfer. Our slings are also fitted with patented visual safety clips or with common loops for the highest safety and maximum compatibility.

Besides that, our range of slings are made with durability in mind. This comes to life in the information label which is fully sewed instead of printed, making it invulnerable to washing and therefore remains readable even after washing it for 100x.

These standard slings are made for short transfers and are meant to be removed after the transfer has been completed. They are available in eight sizes, from XXS to XXL

Different applications demand different slings

Our passive standard slings come available in two different types:

  • The normal standard sling used for dry transfers. The high grade polyester has a closed structure and is therefore easy to apply. Besides that, this sling has extra padding at the leg area and shoulder area for extra comfort and the stiffeners are placed more towards the outside to increase head rest support.
  • The netted standard sling used for wet transfers such as showering. The high grade polyester has an open structure in this case so the water can drain quickly. This sling also has extra padding at the leg area and shoulder area for extra comfort and the stiffeners are placed more towards the outside to increase head rest support.
